Pee & Toilet Seats

Truth be told I truly don’t care if the toilet seat is left up or down.  What I really can’t stand though is sitting on a toilet seat covered in pee.  You would sometimes think someone had a goal of missing the bowl all together!  I would rather sit on a toilet in the middle of the night with the seat up and fall into the bowl at least some of that water would be “clean”.  So I have come to an ultimate decision that from now on I will myself lift the lid on the toilet when I am done using it and put it down when I need to use it.  Because obviously repeating myself a zillion times “don’t pee all over the seat”, “lift the lid when you go”, and “wipe the seat when you are done” has made no difference whatsoever.  So I give in and I apologize to their future wives and daughters.

Domestic Violence

Domestic Violence: 1 in 4 women will be victims; 65% of victims will keep it hidden from others; 3 out of 4 people will know someone who is a victim even if they aren’t aware of it; 3 women a day are killed by a former or intimate partner; 10 women a week commit suicide due to problems that arise from domestic violence related issues; 1 in 12 women will be stalked in their lifetime by a former or intimate partner, for an average duration of almost two years, 80% of women who are stalked by former husbands are physically assaulted by that partner and 30% are sexually assaulted by that partner, Victims may experience psychological trauma, financial hardship and even death; 76% of female homicide victims were stalked prior to their death….

If someone is reaching out grab a hold of them you may be the lifeline they need. Even if they aren’t offer them a lifeline it may be their only way out.

Rants & Raves…

Not sure I need a description for this category.  It tends to happen on a daily basis dealing with anything from the neighbor that tries to ‘weed wack’ my chickens to the schools not allowing tank tops because of arm pit hair.

Have a topic you think might get under my skin?  Please do send me a note, I’d love to hear about it!  Catch me on a “good day” and you never know what you might get.  Good day, Sir!
